The Sunset Dance Department began in 1974 under the direction of Mrs. Brenda Wilder. The program has been through many changes over the years. Studies in our program can lead to numerous opportunities within the field of performance and education. Students can obtain the necessary tools to teach, choreograph, and continue their dance education to a higher level.
As the resident performing company, Sunset Dance Company performs in and around the Dallas area as well as competing and performing throughout Texas and the United States.
Sunset Dance Co. Alumni represent the program well. Students have recieved scholarships for dance and are part of many college dance programs in Texas.
